Specifically, Article 15 of Decree 138/2020/ND-CP stipulates the notification of civil servant recruitment results as follows:
- After completing the marking of round 2 as prescribed in Article 14 of Decree 138/2020/ND-CP, no later than 05 working days, the Recruitment Council must report to the head of the agency competent to recruit civil servants to consider and approve the recruitment results.
- Within 10 days from the date of the decision approving the recruitment results, the recruitment council must make a public announcement on the website or portal of the agency competent to recruit civil servants and send a written notice of recognition of admission results to the candidate at the address that the candidate has registered.
The notification content must clearly state the time limit for the successful candidate to go to the recruitment agency to complete the recruitment application.
Thus, no later than 15 days from the date of completion of the round 2 examination, the results will be made public on the website or web portal of the recruitment agency.
Conditions for registering for civil servant recruitment are as prescribed in Clause 1, Article 36 of the Law on Cadres and Civil Servants: People who meet the following conditions, regardless of ethnicity, gender, social class, belief, or religion, can register for civil service recruitment:
- Have Vietnamese nationality;
- 18 years old or older;
- Have application form; have a clear background;
- Have appropriate diplomas and certificates;
- Have good political and moral qualities;
- Have enough health to perform tasks;
- Other conditions as required by the position.
Note: The agency employing civil servants determines other conditions according to the requirements of the candidate position specified at Point g, Clause 1, Article 36 of the Law on Cadres and Civil Servants; consistent with the job position's capacity framework but not lower than the general standards, must not violate the law, must not differentiate between types of training and written reports
for the civil servant management agency to consider and decide.

Pursuant to Article 5 of Decree 138/2020/ND-CP stipulating subjects and priority scores in entrance examinations or admissions:
- Heroes of the Armed Forces, Labor Heroes, war invalids, policy beneficiaries such as war invalids, class B war invalids: 7.5 points are added to the round 2 score results;
- Ethnic minorities, military officers, police officers, serving professional soldiers, people doing cipher work, changing branches, sStudents graduating from reserve officer training and graduating from training for commanders of commune-level military commands of the grassroots military sector are awarded the rank of reserve officers and have registered for the rank of reserve officers, children of martyrs, children of war invalids, children of sick soldiers, children of policy beneficiaries such as war invalids, children of category B war invalids, biological children of resistance activists exposed to toxic chemicals, children of Armed Forces Heroes, Children of Labor Heroes: 5 points will be added to the results of round 2;
- People who complete military service, people's police service, and youth volunteer team members: 2.5 points are added to the round 2 score results.
In case the candidate taking the exam or admission falls into multiple priority categories as prescribed in Clause 1, Article 5 of Decree 138/2020/ND-CP, only the highest priority score will be added to the round 2 score results.
