A summary of achievements and the working process for applying for consideration for awarding of the Commemorative Medal following Sample 04 attached to and applicable to the subjects stipulated in Clause 1, Article 4 of Circular 02/2024/TT-TTCP dated March 20, 2024, by the Government Inspectorate.

The application for consideration for awarding the Commemorative Medal should be made in 02 sets: 01 set retained at the proposing agency, organization or unit, and 01 set sent to the Emulation and Commendation Council of the Inspectorate sector (via the Personnel Organization Department, Government Inspectorate).
- Step 1: Compilation of the application and proposal for awarding the Commemorative Medal
Heads of departments, divisions, units under the Government Inspectorate, Chief Inspectors of Ministries, Chief Inspectors of agencies equivalent to Ministries, Chief Inspectors of agencies under the Government, Chief Inspector of the Government Cipher Board, Chief Inspectors of provinces, and central-affiliated cities are responsible for compiling applications and proposing awards for individuals who meet the conditions, ensuring the accuracy of the applications; and sending them to the Emulation and Commendation Council of the Inspectorate sector (via the Personnel Organization Department), Government Inspectorate before September 10 each year.
- Step 2: Compilation and proposal for awarding the Commemorative Medal
The Personnel Organization Department under the Government Inspectorate is responsible for compiling nomination applications and presenting them to the Emulation and Commendation Council of the Inspectorate sector before October 10 each year.
- Step 3: Review and appraisal of the application for consideration for awarding the Commemorative Medal
The Emulation and Commendation Council of the Inspectorate sector is responsible for compiling, reviewing, and appraising the applications, and presenting them to the Government Inspector General for approval and decision before November 10 each year according to provisions in Circular 02/2024/TT-TTCP dated March 20, 2024, by the Government Inspectorate. For other cases, the Emulation and Commendation Council of the Inspectorate sector has the responsibility to handle the application and present it to the Government Inspector General for consideration and decision.
- Step 4: Issuance of decision and organization of the award ceremony
The Government Inspector General signs the decision to award the Commemorative Medal; the award ceremony is organized according to Article 11 of Circular 02/2024/TT-TTCP dated March 20, 2024, by the Government Inspectorate on the occasion of Vietnamese Inspectorate's Traditional Day (November 23) each year.
The Personnel Organization Department under the Government Inspectorate is responsible for coordinating with relevant agencies, organizations, and units to advise and assist the Government Inspectorate leadership in organizing the awards for Party, State leaders; Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and central socio-political branches, organizations; officials, civil servants, public employees, workers at the Government Inspectorate; individuals specified in Clauses 3 and 4, Article 4 of Circular 02/2024/TT-TTCP dated March 20, 2024, by the Government Inspectorate.
Inspectorate departments under Ministries, ministry-equivalent agencies, Government agencies, and Government Cipher Inspectorate departments are responsible for organizing the awards for individuals specified in Clause 1 and Points c and e, Clause 2, Article 4 of Circular 02/2024/TT-TTCP dated March 20, 2024 by the Government Inspectorate.
Provincial and city-level (central-affiliated) Inspectorate departments are responsible for organizing the awards for individuals specified in Clause 1 and Points d, dd, and g, Clause 2, Article 4 of Circular 02/2024/TT-TTCP dated March 20, 2024 by the Government Inspectorate.
Other cases shall be decided by the Government Inspector General.
