1. Duties and powers of the Editorial Board of the Government Inspectorate Electronic Information Portal

Duties and powers of the Editorial Board of the Government Inspectorate Electronic Information Portal according to Article 3 of the Regulations issued together with Decision 2819/QD-TTCP in 2012 are as follows:

- Organize the collection, editing, review, and processing of information; ensure timely and accurate updates of information related to the functions and tasks of the Government Inspectorate and the inspection industry on the Electronic Information Portal.

- Orientation of information content of the Electronic Information Portal.

- Approve and take responsibility for the content of news and articles posted on the Electronic Information Portal.

- Research and propose to the Government Inspector General measures to improve the quality of information on the Electronic Information Portal.

- Direct and guide units to provide information according to the provisions of the law and the Government Inspectorate.

- Organize a network of collaborators to provide information about the operations of units in the inspection industry.

- Every 6 months and annually, report to the Government Inspector General on the situation and results of the Editorial Board and the operation of the Electronic Information Portal.

- Perform other tasks assigned by the Government Inspector General.

2. Duties and powers of the Standing Editorial Board of the Government Inspectorate Electronic Information Portal in Vietnam

Duties and powers of the Standing Editorial Board of the Government Inspectorate Electronic Information Portal according to Article 4 of the Regulations issued together with Decision 2819/QD-TTCP in 2012 are as follows:

- Collect, receive, edit, and update information to post on the Electronic Information Portal; send news and articles to Editorial Board members in charge of the fields for approval or ask for opinions on reporting news and articles in case of necessity for news and articles collected and exploited by the Standing Editorial Board.

- Monitor and maintain contact with collaborators; coordinate with focal officers to provide information from departments, agencies, and units; guide organizations and individuals to provide information to post on the Electronic Information Portal according to the provisions of the law and regulations of the Government Inspectorate;

- Monitor the status of receiving and processing information and prepare monthly reports on the status of information posted on the Portal for the Editorial Board.

- Research, propose improvement plans, and develop collection, editing, and updating processes to improve information processing efficiency at the editing and updating stage.

- Compile statistics on royalties and remuneration (if any) for posting information on the assigned electronic information portal and submit it to the Government Inspectorate Leader or Head of the Committee for approval; carry out the payment of approved royalties and remunerations.

- Prepare agenda, content, and documents for meetings of the Editorial Board; summarize, record minutes of meetings, and notify members of meeting results.

- Perform other tasks assigned by the Head of Department.

3. General responsibilities of the Editorial Board members of the Government Inspectorate Electronic Information Portal in Vietnam

The general responsibilities of the Editorial Board members of the Government Inspectorate Electronic Information Portal according to Article 6 of the Regulations issued together with Decision 2819/QD-TTCP in 2012 are as follows:

- Participate in orienting the information content of the Electronic Information Portal; ensure information in the assigned field follows the direction of the Government Inspectorate leadership.

- Members of the Editorial Board assigned to be in charge of information in the field of responsibility are responsible for organizing the collection, reception, editing, updating, and approval of information before posting it on the Electronic Information Portal.

- Determine the types of information that need approval in the assigned field of responsibility before being posted on the Electronic Information Portal; Responsible for the content of news and articles in the assigned information field according to the provisions of law.

- Regularly monitor and check the correctness of information after posting it on the Electronic Information Portal; monitor update progress and post information after approval.

- Propose measures to improve the information quality of the Electronic Information Portal; participate in developing, directing, and organizing the implementation of periodic and annual plans and work programs of the Editorial Board.

- Regularly monitor and propose solutions to improve the operational efficiency of the Electronic Information Portal, propose improvements to the interface, information layout, functions, and utilities for user convenience.

- Participate in directing the organization of a network of collaborators to provide information related to fields under the management of the Government Inspectorate.
