Criteria for recognition of individuals belonging to the consulting network of the Planning and Investment sector in Vietnam (Illustration)

According to Decision 632, criteria for recognition of consulting individuals and organizations in the network of consultants in the field of planning and investment is as follows:

- Individuals who are Vietnamese citizens in good health, have full civil act capacity, are not under criminal investigation, and are using administrative remedies in the consulting field

- He/she must meet the following criteria at the same time:

+ He/she possess a university degree or higher in the field of consulting practice or having a training certificate or practice certificate related to the field of consulting specified in Section I of Decision 632.

+ He/she has at least 1 year of experience in one of the following positions:

• Director of one company with ten or more employees;

• Enterprise management personnel;

• Staff working at organizations supporting SMEs, projects supporting business development;

•  

  Business consultant.

+ He/she has performed or is performing at least one consulting contract in one of the fields specified in Section I of Decision 632 within the period of 36 months up to the time of registration to join the Network of Consultants.

+ He/She does not appear on the list of individuals or consulting firms removed from the Network of Consultants announced at the National Portal to Support SMEs.

- For consultants who are foreign workers, in addition to the above criteria, they must also meet regulations on foreign workers working in Vietnam.

Vietnam's Decision 632/QD-BKHDT takes effect from May 17, 2021.
