1. Content of refresher training for knowledge and skills for prevention and control of domestic violence in Vietnam

The Content of refresher training for knowledge and skills for prevention and control of domestic violence in Vietnam according to Article 26 of Decree 76/2023/ND-CP is as follows:

- Employees directly providing consultation on preventing domestic violence are trained in legal knowledge on domestic violence prevention; identifying domestic violence behaviors; skills to respond when experiencing domestic violence; knowledge and skills in counseling on preventing domestic violence.

- Employees directly involved in providing temporary shelter services and other essential needs for domestic violence victims receive training in legal knowledge on domestic violence prevention; recognizing domestic violence behaviors; skills to cope with domestic violence; skills to prevent domestic violence behaviors.

- Employees directly involved in educating and supporting behavioral transformation for domestic violence perpetrators are trained in legal knowledge on domestic violence prevention; identifying domestic violence behaviors; anger management skills; skills to control violent behavior; skills to build family relationships.

- Employees directly involved in healthcare and preventing mental disorders for domestic violence victims receive training in legal knowledge on domestic violence prevention; identifying domestic violence behaviors; knowledge and skills in caring for domestic violence victims; knowledge and skills in psychological therapy, mental health care for domestic violence victims.

- Employees conducting other activities related to domestic violence prevention are trained in legal knowledge on domestic violence prevention; identifying domestic violence behaviors and related knowledge and skills for provided services.

- Individuals who have been issued a certificate of training in knowledge and skills on domestic violence prevention as stipulated in Clauses 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 of Article 26 of Decree 76/2023/ND-CP must participate in refresher courses to update and supplement knowledge and skills on domestic violence prevention in their respective fields every 5 years.

2. Content and Scope of Activities of Other Facilities Participating in Domestic Violence Prevention Assistance in Vietnam

The content and scope of activities of other facilities participating in domestic violence prevention assistance according to Article 22 of Decree 76/2023/ND-CP are as follows:

- Other facilities participating in domestic violence prevention assistance are establishments voluntarily registered by individuals or organizations to participate in assisting domestic violence prevention.

- Other facilities participating in domestic violence prevention assistance are entitled to preferential policies under the law on domestic violence prevention.

- Activity content of other facilities participating in domestic violence prevention assistance includes:

+ Participating in propaganda and mobilization for domestic violence prevention;

+ Supporting resources for domestic violence prevention tasks;

+ Assisting domestic violence victims with food, clothing, mobility, and other living expenses;

+ Supporting vocational training, job placement for domestic violence victims, individuals with violent behavior who are unemployed and wish to receive support.

- The scope of activities of other facilities participating in domestic violence prevention includes:

+ Individuals or organizations register to conduct one or more activities specified in Clause 3, Article 22 of Decree 76/2023/ND-CP;

+ Individuals or organizations register to participate in domestic violence prevention assistance for employees, members, or associates.
