1. Conditions and membership structure of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI)

The conditions and structure of membership of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) according to Article 7 of the Charter issued together with Decision 1496/QD-TTg in 2022 are as follows:

- Members of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry include organizations and individuals that meet the conditions specified in this Article, agree to the Charter of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and voluntarily join and be admitted or invited in accordance with this Charter and the regulations of the Union.

- Members of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry include official members, associate members, and honorary members:

Official members are enterprises, business associations (professional associations with national or inter-provincial scope, business associations of provinces and centrally run cities, associations, and other business associations), economic organizations, and professional organizations in service of business activities that are registered and operate legally in Vietnam and fully satisfy the conditions for becoming official members in accordance with the law on associations;

+ Affiliate members, who are other businesses and organizations legally registered and operating in Vietnam, are not eligible for official membership according to the provisions at point a, clause 2, Article 7 of the Charter issued together with Decision 1496/QD-TTg in 2022;

+ Honorary members are Vietnamese citizens and organizations that have made special contributions to the performance of tasks for the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

2. Rights of members of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI)

The rights of members of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) under Article 8 of the Charter issued together with Decision 1496/QD-TTg in 2022 are as follows:

Official members have the following rights:

+ Attend member conferences in regions;

+ Attend the General Meeting if elected by the association of members;

+ Vote at the General Meeting (for members who are official delegates to the General Meeting);

+ Be nominated or stand for election to the Executive Board;

+ Propose to the Congress, the Executive Committee, and the Standing Committee on the operation of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the issues of policy, economic law, and business environment;

+ Request the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry to support and protect legitimate rights and interests when being infringed;

+ Receive consulting services, information provision, trade promotion, investment, image promotion, and training.
and other services and supports provided by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry with preferential, preferential, or free conditions;

+ Be rewarded according to the regulations of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry;

+ Stop being a member of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry if deemed unable or unwilling to continue participating.

- Associate members and honorary members have all the rights specified in Clause 1, Article 8 of the Charter issued together with Decision 1496/QD-TTg in 2022, except for Points c and d.b, Clause 1, Article 8 of the Charter promulgated together with Decision 1496/QD-TTg in 2022.

3. Procedures for admission to members of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI)

Procedures for admission of members of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) according to Article 10 of the Charter issued together with Decision 1496/QD-TTg in 2022 are as follows:

- The Standing Board considers and decides to admit official members and associate members.

- At the request of the Standing Committee, the Executive Board decided to invite honorary members of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

- In case of refusal, relevant organizations and individuals may complain to the Inspection Board. In case of disagreement with the complaint settlement decision of the Inspection Committee, the organization or individual may further lodge a complaint with the General Meeting. The decision of the General Meeting is final.
