1. Achievements in science and technology for consideration of public employee admission and appointment to scientific researcher positions in Vietnam

The achievements in science and technology for consideration of public employee admission and appointment to scientific researcher positions in Vietnam according to Article 4 of Circular 05/2023/TT-BKHCN are as follows:

- Evaluation for admission into public employee and appointment to the position of research assistant (Class IV) or researcher (Class III) if the individual meets the standards for the respective title as specified in Joint Circular 24/2014/TTLT-BKHCN-BNV (excluding the standards regarding the duration of maintaining the title Class and the training certificate standards according to professional title standards) and in the last three years from the application deadline, the individual must have achieved at least 0.5 converted points of scientific and technological achievements.

- Evaluation for admission into public employee and appointment to the position of principal researcher (Class II) if the individual meets the standards for the principal researcher title (Class II) as specified in Joint Circular 24/2014/TTLT-BKHCN-BNV (excluding the standards regarding the duration of maintaining the title Class and the training certificate standards according to professional title standards) and by the application deadline, the individual must have achieved the following:

At least 09 converted points for scientific and technological achievements, of which at least 03 points are obtained from performing scientific and technological tasks at the organizational level or higher, publishing monographs, or articles in reputable international journals; with at least 01 converted point for scientific and technological achievements within the last two years from the application deadline.

- Evaluation for admission into public employee and appointment to the position of senior researcher (Class I) if the individual meets the standards for the senior researcher title (Class I) as specified in Joint Circular 24/2014/TTLT-BKHCN-BNV (excluding the standards regarding the duration of maintaining the title Class and the training certificate standards according to professional title standards) and by the application deadline, the individual must have achieved the following:

At least 15 converted points for scientific and technological achievements, of which at least 09 points are obtained from performing scientific and technological tasks at the ministerial or provincial level or higher, publishing monographs, or articles in reputable international journals; with at least 02 converted points for scientific and technological achievements within the last two years from the application deadline.

2. Achievements in science and technology for consideration of public employee admission and appointment to technological researcher positions in Vietnam

According to Article 5 of Circular 05/2023/TT-BKHCN, the regulations on the achievements in science and technology for consideration of public employee admission and appointment to technological researcher positions in Vietnam are as follows:

- Evaluation for admission into public employee and appointment to the position of technician (Class IV) or engineer (Class III) if the individual meets the standards for the respective title as specified in Joint Circular 24/2014/TTLT-BKHCN-BNV (excluding the standards regarding the duration of maintaining the title Class and the training certificate standards according to professional title standards) and in the last three years from the application deadline, the individual must have achieved at least 0.5 converted points of scientific and technological achievements.

- Evaluation for admission into public employee and appointment to the position of principal engineer (Class II) if the individual meets the standards for the principal engineer title (Class II) as specified in Joint Circular 24/2014/TTLT-BKHCN-BNV (excluding the standards regarding the duration of maintaining the title Class and the training certificate standards according to professional title standards) and by the application deadline, the individual must have achieved the following:

At least 06 converted points for scientific and technological achievements, of which at least 03 points are obtained from leading or participating in scientific and technological tasks at the organizational level or higher, or projects, works, or designs from level III or higher in the technical sector, or as the author of a granted invention patent, a useful solution granted a patent and applied in practice, or published scientific articles; with at least 01 converted point for scientific and technological achievements within the last two years from the application deadline.

- Evaluation for admission into public employee and appointment to the position of senior engineer (Class I) if the individual meets the standards for the senior engineer title (Class I) as specified in Joint Circular 24/2014/TTLT-BKHCN-BNV (excluding the standards regarding the duration of maintaining the title Class and the training certificate standards according to professional title standards) and by the application deadline, the individual must have achieved the following:

At least 12 converted points for scientific and technological achievements, of which at least 06 points are obtained from leading or participating in scientific and technological tasks at the ministerial level or higher, or leading projects, works, or designs from level II or higher in the technical sector, or as the author of a granted invention patent, a useful solution granted a patent and applied in practice, or published scientific articles; with at least 01 converted point for scientific and technological achievements within the last two years from the application deadline.
