1. Doctor's dress code in Vietnam

The doctor's uniforms, according to Article 4 of Circular 45/2015/TT-BYT, are as follows:

- Shirt:

+ Color: White;

+ Style: Danton collar blouse, buttoned in the middle, long or short sleeves, knee length, 3 pockets on the front, a name tag button on the left chest, and a split in the back to the buttocks.

- Trousers:

+ Color: White;

+ Style: Two-piece casual pants, 2 cross pockets, men's pants with 1 back pocket.

- Hat:

Color: According to the color of the shirt.

2. Pharmacist dress code in Vietnam

The uniform of pharmacists, according to Article 7 of Circular 45/2015/TT-BYT, is as follows:

- Shirt:

+ Color: White;

Style: Blouse, 2 lapel collar, middle button, long or short sleeve, knee length, 3 pockets in the front, nameplate button on the left chest, slit in the middle to the buttock level.

- Trousers:

+ Color: White;

+ Style: Two-piece casual pants, 2 cross pockets, men's pants with 1 back pocket.

- Hat:

Color: According to the color of the shirt.

3. Regulations on the patient's dress code in Vietnam

The patient's clothes, according to Article 15 of Circular 45/2015/TT-BYT, are as follows:

- Shirt:

+ Color: Blue or white background, blue plaid or light background with dark texture;

Style: Pajama top, 2 lapel collar, middle button, long sleeves, waist length, front 3 pockets.

- Trousers:

+ Color: Same color and texture as the shirt's color and texture;

Style: Pajama pants, drawstring, with 1 back pocket.

- Heads of medical examination and treatment establishments shall base themselves on the provisions of Point a, Clause 1, and Point a, Clause 2, Article 15 of Circular 45/2015/TT-BYT on the selection and regulation of the patient's clothing colors and patterns for uniform use at medical examination and treatment establishments.

- For children's clothes: The head of the medical examination and treatment establishment shall specify the clothes of the pediatric patient for uniform use at the medical examination and treatment establishment.

4. Dress code for seriously ill patients in Vietnam

According to Article 16 of Circular 45/2015/TT-BYT, the dress code for seriously ill patients is as follows:

- Color: Blue or white background, blue plaid or light background with dark texture;

- Style: Round neck, long sleeves, 5cm above the knee length, tied at the back.

- Heads of medical examination and treatment establishments shall, based on the provisions of Clause 1, Article 16 of Circular 45/2015/TT-BYT, select and prescribe the colors of seriously ill patients' clothes for uniform use at the unit. .

5. Regulations on maternity dress code in Vietnam

Maternity clothes according to Article 17 of Circular 45/2015/TT-BYT are as follows:

- Shirt:

+ Color: Blue or pink or light background with dark textures;

Style: Round neck, middle button, long sleeves, loose fit, length over buttock.

- Skirt:

+ Color: Same color as the shirt color;

+ Style: Detachable skirt, loose shape, drawstring back, length 10 cm above the knee.

- One-piece dress:

+ Color: Blue or pink or light background with dark textures;

Style: Round neck, long-sleeve jumpsuit, buttoned in the middle, the front body has a drawstring at the waist, 5cm - 10cm above the knee length.

- Heads of medical examination and treatment establishments shall base themselves on the provisions of Point a, Clause 1, Point a, Clause 3, Article 17 of Circular 45/2015/TT-BYT on the selection and regulation of the color of maternity clothes for uniform use at the unit.

6. General regulations for medical dress code in Vietnam

According to Article 3 of Circular 45/2015/TT-BYT, general provisions for medical clothing are as follows:

- Medical clothing includes: Tops, pants, jumpsuits, skirts, shoes, hats and name plates.

- Criteria of medical clothing:

+ Ensure safety for patients and users;

+ Convenient to wear, when professional manipulation;

+ Traditional and characteristic of the medical industry;

+ The material is guaranteed to be less wrinkled, soft, easy to wash, easy to iron, easy to disinfect, absorb sweat and suitable for the climate;

+ Styles and colors are harmonious, friendly, simple, modern, polite, elegant, discreet, ensuring aesthetics, suitable for work and profession;

+ Ensure that the different users and areas of expertise are clearly identified.

- Medical clothing must not have the Red Cross symbol in contravention of the law on Red Cross activities.
