Regarding this matter, LawNet would like to answer as follows:

On April 4, 2024, the Prime Minister issued Decision 280/QD-TTg approving the plan to organize activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Public Security of Vietnam (August 19, 1945–August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Security Protection Day (August 19, 2005–August 19, 2025).

According to Decision 280/QD-TTg in 2024, the activities of propaganda, education, emulation - commendation to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Public Security of Vietnam (August 19, 1945–August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Security Protection Day (August 19, 2005–August 19, 2025) are approved as follows:

- Request the Central Propaganda Committee to direct relevant agencies to implement:

+ Organize commemorative propaganda activities with the themes: "Building a truly clean, strong, disciplined, skilled, and modern People's Public Securitye"; "Building the people's trust in national security" on the media of the Central and local authorities within and outside the People's Police. Diversify forms of propaganda, promote the advantages and benefits of new forms of media.

+ Coordinate with the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Information and Communications to organize press conferences for propaganda orientation, training of reporters; compile, publish, and distribute propaganda materials.

+ Direct and guide commemorative propaganda; compile and distribute propaganda outlines about the event; produce documentaries, television programs, cartoons for children, and radio programs in multiple ethnic languages to propagate to ethnic communities. Emphasize directing and strengthening propaganda on traditional media channels, electronic information portals, and social networking sites.

- Request the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and related agencies to organize activities for officials, party members, and the people, especially the young generation, to participate in learning about the traditions of the People's Public Security Force and National Security Protection Day.

- The Ministry of Home Affairs will provide recommendations to promote the patriotic emulation movement nationwide to achieve achievements in welcoming the event in conjunction with successfully implementing the tasks of socio-economic development, national defense, security, and the national target programs in 2025. Organize commendations for collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the cause of national security, ensuring social order and safety.

Cultural, artistic, physical education, and sports activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Public Security of Vietnam

According to Decision 280/QD-TTg in 2024, the Prime Minister also approved the cultural, artistic, physical education, and sports activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Public Security of Vietnam (August 19, 1945–August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Security Protection Day (August 19, 2005–August 19, 2025) as follows:

- The Ministry of Public Security, in coordination with the Ministry of Information and Communications and related units, will mobilize artists and intellectuals nationwide to participate in creating and promoting literary and artistic works, press with the theme "Security with life"; organize specialized exhibitions (stationary, mobile) on the achievements of the People's Public Security force (achievements, exploits, weapons, technical equipment, security industry, literature, art, press...); cultural, artistic, physical education, and sports activities to celebrate the event, including organizing the "National Security Protection Day" in localities to attract the attention and interest of the people to the cause of security, order, and the People's Police force.

- Review, repair, and embellish some special historical relics related to the event; construct, repair, and install signs for projects welcoming the event.
