General Department of Taxation Recruitment for 2,104 Positions
According to the Plan for Organizing Recruitment Exams and Selection for Officials by the General Department of Taxation in 2016, the total recruitment need for officials through the examination for 59/63 tax departments is 2,104 positions.
Examination Format
Candidates participating in the 2016 tax official recruitment exam will go through 02 rounds of examination:
- Round 01: The format will be multiple-choice exams on paper graded by machine for 03 subjects (Multiple-choice in specialized profession, foreign language, and informatics).- Round 02: Candidates who pass Round 01 (with a score of 50 or above in all 03 multiple-choice subjects, except those exempted from informatics and foreign language) will then participate in Round 02 (written exam) for 02 written specialized subjects and General knowledge.
Conditions for Exemption from Foreign Language and Office Informatics Exams
For the foreign language subject: A person may be exempted from the foreign language exam if they meet one of the following conditions:
- Possess a university or postgraduate degree in a foreign language;- Possess a university or postgraduate degree obtained abroad or a university or postgraduate degree from a training institution in Vietnam where the medium of instruction is a foreign language.
For the office informatics subject: A candidate may be exempted from the office informatics exam in the case of holding a diploma from intermediate level or higher in the fields of information technology, electronics and telecommunications, informatics, or mathematical informatics.
Candidates applying for the ranks of Specialist in Information Technology and Assistant in Information Technology are exempted from the Office Informatics exam.
