The Ministry of Finance has just issued Circular 116/2021/TT-BTC amending and supplementing a number of articles of Circular 287/2016/TT-BTC stipulating the collection rate, mode of collection, payment, management and use of fees. , fees in the field of atomic energy.
Accordingly, amending and supplementing a number of points in Section I, Part A, Table of fees and charges in the field of atomic energy promulgated together with Circular 287/2016/TT-BTC . Specifically, from February 5, 2022, the assessment fee for granting licenses to import and export radioactive substances is regulated as follows:
- Radioactive sources with above-average radiation hazard: VND 3,500,000 (for 1 source or 1 lot of sources to use in 1 device);
(Currently, the fee is 7,000,000 VND).
- Radioactive sources with an average level of radioactive danger: 1,000,000 VND/1 source;
(Currently, the fee is 2,000,000 VND).
- Radioactive sources with below-average levels of radioactive danger: VND 500,000/1 source.
(Currently, the fee is 1,000,000 VND).
In addition, in case of license renewal, the fee will be equal to 75% of the fee for initial assessment as prescribed in Circular 287/2016/TT-BTC (currently, it is equal to 75% of the fee for assessment and grant of a license). new) .
Circular 116/2021/TT-BTC also adds toll collection organizations, including:
- Department of Radiation and Nuclear Safety (Ministry of Science and Technology)
- Departments of Science and Technology of provinces and centrally run cities
- Agencies under the Ministry of Science and Technology, agencies under the People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities that are assigned the task of granting licenses, operation registration certificates and certificates in the field of atomic energy. and approve plans to respond to radiation and nuclear incidents.
