Two values of gifts given to people with meritorious services to the revolution on July 27, 2023 in Vietnam

Gifts given to people with meritorious services to the revolution on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2023) in Vietnam are specified as follows:

* Gift assessed at 600,000 VND shall be given to:

- People with meritorious services to the revolution:

+ Individuals who participated in revolutionary activities before January 01, 1945, currently receiving monthly preferential allowances.

+ Individuals who participated in revolutionary activities from January 01, 1945, to the August 1945 uprising, currently receiving monthly preferential allowances.

+ Vietnamese Heroic Mothers currently receiving monthly preferential allowances.

+ Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, Heroes of Labor during the resistance war, currently receiving monthly preferential allowances.

+ War invalids, individuals receiving policies similar to war invalids, class B war invalids, and sick soldiers with body impairment rates from 81% or more, currently receiving monthly preferential allowances.

+ Individuals involved in resistance activities who were exposed to chemical toxins with body impairment rates from 81% or more, currently receiving monthly preferential allowances.

+ Individuals with meritorious services in assisting the revolution currently receiving monthly nurturing allowances.

- Relatives of martyrs currently receiving monthly fostering allowances; relatives of two or more martyrs currently receiving monthly survivor benefits.

* Gift assessed at 300,000 VND shall be given to:

- People with meritorious services to the revolution:

+ War invalids, individuals receiving policies similar to war invalids, class B war invalids, and sick soldiers with body impairment rates of 80% or less, currently receiving monthly preferential allowances. War invalids currently receiving invalids' discharge policies.

+ Individuals involved in resistance activities who were exposed to chemical toxins with body impairment rates of 80% or less, currently receiving monthly preferential allowances.

+ Individuals who participated in revolutionary, resistance, national defense activities, and international obligations detained by the enemy, currently receiving monthly preferential allowances.

+ Individuals with meritorious services in assisting the revolution, currently receiving monthly preferential allowances.

- Representatives of martyrs' relatives.

- Individuals who maintain martyrs' worship (in cases where the martyrs have no relatives).

Thus, the values of gifts given to people with meritorious services to the revolution on July 27, 2023 in Vietnam are the same as those in Decision 754/QD-CTN in 2022 regarding gifts on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2022).

Decision 715/QD-CTN is effective from the date of signing for issuance.
