Vietnam: To voluntarily implement 5K rules in Covid-19 prevention during Tet 2021

Recently, the National Traffic Safety Committee of Vietnam issued Official Dispatch 43/CV-UBATGTQG in 2021 on strengthening the work of ensuring traffic order and safety, transportation work during the Tet holiday and the Tan Suu Spring Festival associated with the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic.

According to Vietnam's Official Dispatch 43/CV-UBATGTQG, the Chairman of the National Traffic Safety Committee proposed to the Chairman of the People's Committee as Head of the Traffic Safety Committee of the provinces and centrally-run cities to direct functional agencies, mass organizations, authorities at all levels, and mass media agencies in the locality to:

Promote propaganda and mobilization of people to abide by the law on traffic safety and prevention of the COVID-19 epidemic;
Voluntarily implementing "Drink, beer-do not drive" and 5K Message in the prevention of the COVID-19 epidemic (mask, disinfection, distance, distraction, and medical declaration);
Install the Bluzone application and make medical declarations when required by the authorities in Vietnam.

At the same time, require the management units of bus stations, railway stations, airports, ports, ...and transport business units to strictly comply with the directions and instructions of the Central Steering Committee, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Transport, and the Steering Committee for Epidemic Prevention and Control at all levels on the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic in Vietnam.
