To strengthen the direction of enrollment at all levels in VET in 2023

Implementing Directive 17/CT-TTg dated May 29, 2023, on strengthening direction and coordination in organizing high school graduation exams, university enrollment, and vocational education in 2023; to ensure completion of the goals and tasks of enrollment and training in 2023, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs of Vietnam requested the People's Committees of the provinces and centrally-run cities to strengthen the direction of the Departments, departments, branches, and vocational education institutions in the locality to implement the following contents:

- Continuing to actively promote propaganda and enrollment counseling at all levels in vocational education in various forms to access and provide adequate information to all learners; well prepare the conditions for enrollment; develop plans, coordinate in organizing enrollment counseling days, career guidance, and stream students into vocational education.

- Increasing enrollment, organizing training programs of high quality, regular training, and focusing on training and retraining for workers in mountainous, border, and island areas in order to meet the needs of the skilled labor force of enterprises and the labor market.

- Coordinating the sharing of databases on enrollment and graduation of junior high and high school students for vocational education institutions to exploit and coordinate in the work of streamlining, career guidance, enrollment, and training.

- Strengthening the direction of the organization of teaching the mass of upper secondary culture at vocational education institutions in the area. Timely information, reports on difficulties and problems, and proposes solutions for implementation.

- Promoting the application of information technology in vocational education activities; strictly implementing the reporting regime, updating information on the database software at the address: http://csdl.gdnn.gov.vn according to the instructions in Official Dispatch 2746/TCGDNN-VP dated 12/12/2022; and periodically reporting on enrollment results as prescribed in Circular 05/2021/TT- BLĐTBXH.
