Vietnam: To promulgate Regulation on training at university effective from May 3, 2021

Specifically, in the Regulations promulgated together with Circular 08, students are considered to transfer to another training program or major, or another branch of the training institution, or from the branch to the head office in Vietnam when the following conditions are fully satisfied:

- Not currently being a first-year or final-year student, not subject to consideration for expulsion, and still having enough study time as prescribed in Clause 5, Article 2 of this Regulation;

- Students who meet the admission requirements of the program, major of training, of the head office (or branch) in the same enrollment course;

- The training institution, head office (or branch) fully meets the quality assurance conditions and has not yet exceeded the training capacity for that training program or branch according to current regulations of the Ministry of Education and Trainingo ff Vietnam;

- Obtaining the consent of the heads of specialized units in charge of the program, the training branch, the person in charge of the branch (place of departure and arrival), and the principal of the training institution in Vietnam.

At the same time, when the specified conditions are met, students can also be considered to transfer to training institutions in Vietnam.
