Vietnam: To finalize system of land law by 2050

According to Vietnam's Resolution 115/NQ-CP, perfecting the system of land law and other relevant laws by 2050 in the direction of:

- Synchronously improving the efficiency of land management and use; regulating revenue from land in order to balance and rationally distribute resources to create equal development resources among regions in Vietnam;...

- Creating favorable conditions for the conversion of land use purposes for the implementation of investment projects according to the plan; allowing flexibility to change crop structure within a maximum of 300 thousand hectares of rice land but without changing the nature and conditions of rice land use;...

- Finalizing regulations on land acquisition and site clearance; regulations to strictly manage the transfer of land use rights, ensure transparency requirements, and not lose state tax revenue;...

- Perfecting mechanisms and policies towards promoting administrative reform and shortening administrative procedures; ensuring the principle of publicity and transparency of land use planning information; promoting the development of deep-lying, remote areas and areas with disadvantageous socio-economic conditions;...

- Researching and developing criteria, norms, and regulations on investment rates per unit area to ensure economical and efficient management and use of land resources in Vietnam.
