Vietnam: To continue to combine face-to-face meetings and online meetings in Party offices

The Central Committee of Vietnam issued Resolution 28-NQ/TW dated November 17, 2022 on continuing to renew the Party's leadership and ruling methods over the political system in the new period.

According to Vietnam's Resolution 28-NQ/TW a number of solutions have been proposed to promote administrative reform in the leadership style and working style of the Party's leadership agencies in Vietnam, for example:

- Promote administrative reform, the application of information technology, and digital transformation in agencies and organizations of the political system from the central to local levels;

Expand the form of face-to-face meetings combined with online meetings in party offices;

Reduce unnecessary meetings; build a database of grassroots party organizations, party members, and party documents, connecting the central to the grassroots in Vietnam.

Develop and apply criteria and indicators to evaluate the effectiveness and quality of the activities of agencies and organizations such as:

Public administration, administrative reform, and the satisfaction index of cadres, party members, and people serve as the basis for quality improvement, working style, and administrative reform.

- Continue to innovate in the party's information and reporting work, ensure fast and timely delivery, and expand the use of information technology...

More details can be found in Vietnam's Resolution 28-NQ/TW, effective from the date of issue.
