Vietnam: To continue paying attention to and coordinate in the performance of state compensation tasks

Recently, the Ministry of Justice of Vietnam issued Official Dispatch 243/BTP-BTNN on the performance of key tasks of state compensation in 2021.

According to Vietnam's Official Dispatch 243/BTP-BTNN, the Ministry of Justice of Vietnam requested the People's Court, the Procuracy of the People's Court, ministries, branches, and provincial People's Committees to continue to pay attention to, coordinate in implementation, and direct the implementation of state compensation work, focusing on the following key tasks:

To closely coordinate with the Ministry of Justice of Vietnam in performing the state management of state compensation work nationwide; and focus on the tasks of propagating, disseminating and educating the law on the State's compensation responsibility; professional training in compensation settlement, monitoring, urging, professional guidance and inter-sectoral inspection on state compensation work; direct agencies under the management of their branches in their localities to closely and promptly coordinate with the provincial People's Committees in coordinating the implementation of state compensation work in their localities;
Directing agencies under the management of their branches to promptly handle cases and claims according to Vietnam's Law on State Compensation Liability,...;
Directing agencies under the management of their branches to strictly observe the provisions of law on the State's compensation liability,...;
