Vietnam: The Secretariat requested to perform well the tasks of organizing Tet in 2021

According to the Directive No. 48-CT/TW, in order to well prepare the conditions to serve the people to welcome the Tan Suu New Year 2021, the Secretariat requires all levels of party committees, party organizations, authorities, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at all levels to focus on leading, directing and organizing the implementation of a number of key tasks as follows:

- Strictly implementing regulations on Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control, absolutely not being subjective or losing vigilance to epidemic risks; uphold the responsibility of the leader, ready to respond and direct drastically, synchronously and effectively measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic in organizations, agencies, units, localities, enterprises and community. Concurrently, promote production and business activities, socio-economic development, ensure national defense and security, strive to achieve the highest level of goals and targets, programs and plans in 2021;

- Promote the nation's cultural tradition of solidarity, "mutual love", pay attention to well implement social security policies, take care of the people's material and spiritual life during Tet, make sure everyone is happy in spring and welcomes Tet. In particular, take care of policy families, people with meritorious services to the revolution, and people in difficult circumstances; poor households, people in areas affected by natural disasters, epidemics, remote areas, border areas, islands, etc;
