Recently, the Prime Minister of Vietnam has issued the Directive No. 43/CT-TTg on the improvement of quality of construction work, perfecting the legal system and enhancing the efficiency of law enforcement.
According to the Directive No. 43/CT-TTg, in order to improve the quality of construction work, perfect the legal system and enhance the efficiency of law enforcement, to meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation, the Prime Minister requests ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies, government-attached agencies, and chairpersons of People's Committees of central-affiliated provinces and cities to focus on directing and organizing:
- Strictly implementing the Law on Promulgation of Legislative Documents 2015 of Vietnam (amended and supplemented in 2020);
- Focusing on summarizing law enforcement, assessing the impact of policies to propose the improvement of the law;
- Proposing the development and improvement of the law must be placed in the overall legal system, ensuring the consistency, synchronism, feasibility, publicity, transparency, stability and accessibility, with low compliance costs, in line with international practices and treaties to which Vietnam is a member.
Besides, the Prime Minister of Vietnam also requested the above-mentioned managers to direct and organize the implementation of many other specific tasks and solutions to enhance the effectiveness of law enforcement according to Directive No. 43/CT-TTg.
