This is a significant content in Directive 24/CT-BYT regarding the promotion of strict implementation of Covid-19 prevention and control measures issued on November 24, 2020.
According to Directive 24/CT-BYT, shortly, Vietnam will host many important political activities and events, and COVID-19 prevention and control work must be strict with the highest safety level. To promote the strict implementation of COVID-19 prevention and control measures to ensure public health and socio-economic development, the Minister of Health of Vietnam directs:
- Directors of the Departments of Health of provinces and municipalities, Health sector heads, and heads of units under the Ministry continue to direct and organize the strict implementation of the Prime Minister's directives as per Official Telegram 1300/CD-TTg regarding COVID-19 prevention and control;
- The heads of health authorities and units in Vietnam are responsible for the COVID-19 prevention and control work at their units and must uphold the spirit of responsibility, organize the implementation, and strictly follow the directives and guidelines on the implementation of COVID-19 prevention and control measures;
- Medical facilities shall:
+ Continue to conduct assessments according to the Safe Hospital Criteria for COVID-19 prevention and control and other acute respiratory diseases as per Decision 3088/QD-BYT;
+ Maintain strict organization of screening, classification, streamlining processes, ensuring infection control work in hospitals, and preventing cross-infection within hospitals, especially in departments treating critically ill patients;
