Vietnam: Technical requirements for commune-level radio stations applying information and telecommunications technology

Recently, the Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam has issued the Circular No. 39/2020/TT-BTTTT on management of commune-level radio stations applying information and telecommunications technology.

According to the Circular No. 39/2020/TT-BTTTT of the Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam, technical requirements of commune-level radio stations applying information and telecommunications technology are specified in this Circular as follows:

- Hardware equipment of commune-level radio stations applying information and telecommunications technology must meet the basic technical requirements in Appendix 01 issued together with Circular No. 39/2020/TT-BTTTT;

- System software serving the operation of information technology - telecommunications application radio and television clusters meets the basic requirements for information security in Appendix 02 issued together with Circular No. 39/2020/TT-BTTTT;

- Software of the broadcasting system applying information technology - telecommunications of the province, city directly under the Central Government;

- Meet the basic functional requirements in Appendix 03 issued together with Circular No. 39/2020/TT-BTTTT and other guidelines of the Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam;

- Meet the basic requirements for information security in Appendix 04 issued together with 39/2020/TT-BTTTT.
