Vietnam: Support nutritious meals for employees implementing "1 road, 2 destinations"

Recently, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor promulgated Decision 3309/QD-TLD dated October 1 2021 on supporting nutritious meals for union members and employees who are implementing "one road, two destinations" of businesses in provinces and cities, implementing distance according to Directive 15 and Directive 16.

According to this Decision, beneficiaries are union members and employees working at enterprises that pay trade union fees, implement "one road, two destinations" and are approved by competent authorities.

The maximum one-time support level is 1,000,000 VND/person.

Time to implement support: from October 1, 2021 to October 31, 2021.

Implement process:

- The grassroots trade union shall report the number of union members and workers mobilized by the enterprise to carry out "one road, two destinations" to the immediate superior trade union for funding appraisal.

- In case the enterprise has paid trade union dues but has not yet organized a trade union, then the direct superior trade union working with the enterprise shall check and determine the number of union members and employees who are entitled to "one road, two destinations" to maintain production and business activities to pay for support.
