The Minister of Industry and Trade of Vietnam issued Circular No. 06/2020/TT-BCT amending a number of Articles of Circular No. 03/2019/TT-BCT dated January 22, 2019 by Ministry of Industry and Trade on rules of origin in Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP).
Circular No. 06/2020/TT-BCT of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam supplements the term “wholly formed” to Article 29 of Circular No. 03/2019/TT-BCT, specifically as follows:
“wholly formed” mentioned in Clause 3 refers to all of the production processes, starting with the extrusion of filament yarns, strips, sheets or webs, including drawing of filament yarns or cutting of webs into strips, or spinning, or both, and ending with a finished yarn or piled yarn.”
Moreover, Circular No. 06/2020/TT-BCT also supersedes certain Circulars enclosed with Circular No. 03/2019/TT-BCT and replaces them with Circulars enclosed with Circular No. 06/2020/TT-BCT.
