Vietnam: Star and line of customs insignia used for seasonal costumes from March 01, 2021

Recently, the Government of Vietnam has issued the Decree No. 02/2021/NĐ-CP regulations on traditional flags, ensigns, emblems, customs insignia, insignia, nameplates, insignia, uniforms, customs identification and typical signs of means of customs patrol, control and supervision.

According to Article 10 of the Decree No. 02/2021/NĐ-CP of the Vietnam’s Government, the star of customs insignia used for spring-summer, autumn-winter costumes is yellow, embossed. The star is placed in a vertical line in the middle of the badge, between the emblem and the badge button, in which:

Officials and public employees holding leadership positions at the head level: 02 stars.

Officials and public employees holding deputy leadership positions: 01 star.

Officials and public employees who do not hold leadership positions are not assigned a star.

Moreover, Article 10 of the Decree No. 02/2021/NĐ-CP also stipulates the lines of customs insignia used for spring-summer, autumn-winter costumes, specifically as follows:

- Leaders of the General Department of Customs: 03 yellow horizontal lines;

- Officials holding leadership positions at Departments and equivalent positions: 03 yellow horizontal lines.

- Officials holding leadership positions at Sub-Departments, Customs Control Teams and equivalent positions: 02 yellow horizontal lines.
