On January 19, 2021, Social Insurance issued Decision 114/QD-BHXH on the action plan of Vietnam Social Security to implement < a href='https://lawnet.vn/vb/nghi-quyet-01-nq-cp-2021-nhiem-vu-giai-phap-chu-yeu-thuc-hien-du-toan-ngan-sach-nha-nuoc-709ee.html'> Resolution 01/NQ-CP dated January 1, 2021 of the Government of Vietnam.
Pursuant to Vietnam's Resolution 01/NQ-CP dated January 1, 2021 of the Government on the main tasks and solutions to direct and administer the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and the annual state budget estimate in 2021, Vietnam Social Insurance (SI) has developed an Action Program to implement the Resolution with the following main objectives and targets:
Key objectives for 2021:
Complete the estimated targets assigned by the Prime Minister of Vietnam;
Strive to exceed the socio-economic targets stated in the Government of Vietnam's Resolution 01/NQ-CP dated January 1, 2021, specifically: The number of people participating in social insurance accounts for 35.2% of the labor force in age (according to Resolution 01/NQ-CP it is 35%); the number of people participating in unemployment insurance (UI) accounts for 28.5% compared to the labor force in age (according to Resolution 01/NQ-CP it is 28%); the number of people participating in health insurance (health insurance) reached 91.56% of the population participating in health insurance (according to Resolution 01/NQ-CP it is 91%).
