Vietnam’s regulations on aviation service pricing from January 1, 2025

Vietnam’s regulations on aviation service pricing from January 1, 2025 

Specifically, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam shall appraise price schemes and submit reports to the Ministry of Transport of Vietnam on the promulgation of the document on the pricing of the following services:

- Aviation services with specified prices:  

+ Aircraft takeoff and landing services; 

+ Coordination services for arrival and departure flights;  

+ Passenger services at airports and aerodromes;  

+ Aviation security services (baggage and passenger security assurance services; security assurance services for passengers rejected from entry and detained for 24 hours or more; cargo and parcel security assurance services; security assurance services for cargos that already undergo security screening from cargo warehouses with infrastructures outside of the boundary of airports and aerodromes to restricted areas at airports; security assurance services for the transport of cargos and equipment for use in restricted areas at airports and aerodromes);  

+ Control services for flights across flight information regions under the management of Vietnam;

- Aviation services with specified price ranges:  

+ Airport apron rental services;  

+ Counter rental services for passenger procedures; 

+ Baggage conveyor belt rental services; 

+ Passenger boarding bridge rental services; 

+ Ground service package at airports and aerodromes (with respect to airports no longer utilize service package); 

+ Automatic baggage classification services; 

+ Aviation refueling services. 

+ Refueling services with fuel hydrant systems at airports and aerodromes; 

Lease of rights to utilize aviation services at airports and aerodromes, including services of lease of passenger terminals; terminals, cargo warehouses; ground handling; repair and maintenance of aviation vehicles and equipment; aviation techniques; provision of aviation meals; provision of aviation fuel;

- Non-aviation services with specified price ranges:  

+ Passenger terminal space rental services; cargo terminal space rental services; 

+ Basic necessities at airports and aerodromes; 

- Domestic air transportation services at basic economy class fares sold within the territory of Vietnam are subject to maximum pricing.
