Vietnam: Reduction on collection rates of several animal health fees and charges due to Covid-19

On August 06, 2021, the Minister of Finance of Vietnam issued Circular No. 68/2021/TT-BTC prescribing collection rates of several animal health fees and charges in order to provide subsidy and relief for people affected by Covid-19.

According to the Circular No. 68/2021/TT-BTC of the Ministry of Finance of Vietnam, collection rates of several animal health fees and charges are reduced 50% compared to collection rates prescribed in the Circular No. 101/2020/TT-BTC dated November 23, particularly:

- Fees for issuance of a sanitary and phytosanitary certificate for animals and terrestrial animal products; fishery products imported, in transit or temporarily imported for export (including those stored in bonded warehouses) and moved to other border checkpoints:

+ From August 06, 2021 to the end of December 31, 2021: VND 20,000/time;

+ From January 01, 2022: VND 40,000/time.

- Fees for issuance of certificates of practicing in animal health services:

+ From August 06, 2021 to the end of December 31, 2021: VND 25,000/time;

+ From January 01, 2022: VND 50,000/time.

- Animal quarantine fees for poultry diagnostic tests:

+ From August 06, 2021 to the end of December 31, 2021: VND 17,500 for each vehicle/special-use vehicle.

+ From January 01, 2022: VND 35,000 for each vehicle/special-use vehicle.

Circular No. 68/2021/TT-BTC of the Ministry of Finance of Vietnam takes effect from August 06, 2021 to the end of December 31, 2021.
