Vietnam: Propagating and disseminating the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment 2023

On March 20, 2023, the Prime Minister issued Decision 264/QD-TTg on implementation Plan Law on Medical Examination and Treatment 2023.

According to Vietnam's Decision 264/QD-TTg, the propagation, dissemination, and training plan on the implementation of the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment 2023 is as follows:

(1) Compiling documents for propaganda, dissemination, and training about the Law and its implementation documents:

- Implementing agency: Ministry of Health of Vietnam.

- Implementation time: March 2023.

(2) Organizing propaganda and dissemination of the Law and documents detailing its implementation:

- Contents of activities:

Organizing propaganda and dissemination to people and practitioners about the provisions on rights and obligations and the new contents of the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment 2023.

Organizing training on the implementation of the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment 2023 for officials from central and local ministries, branches, and localities in order to enhance their responsibility of leading, directing, and organizing the implementation of the Law.

- Delegation to perform:

+ Responsible agency: Ministry of Health of Vietnam.

+ Coordinating agencies: Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of National Defense, Ministry of Information and Communications, People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities, Voice of Vietnam Radio, Vietnam Television , Vietnam News Agency, press agencies, ministries, branches, localities, and relevant agencies and organizations.

- Implementation time: 2023 and the following years.
