Vietnam: Promulgating the new List and quantities of fire prevention and fighting and rescue equipment provided for civil defense force

This is a notable content of the Circular No. 150/2020/TT-BCA dated December 31, 2020 of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam on provision of fire prevention and fighting and rescue equipment to neighborhood watches, internal firefighting forces and specialized firefighting forces.

The list and quantities of fire prevention and fighting and rescue equipment provided for 01 neighborhood watch are specified in Appendix I issued together with the Circular No. 150/2020/TT-BCA of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam include:

- Portable dry powder fire extinguisher with extinguishant weight of at least 04 kg: 05 pieces;

- Portable gaseous agent fire extinguisher with extinguishant weight of at least 03 kg or portable water fire extinguisher with extinguishant volume of at least 06 liters: 05 pieces;

- Flashlight: 02 pieces;

- Fire axe: 01 piece;

- Crowbar: 01 piece;

- Sledgehammer: 01 piece;

- Bolt cutter: 01 piece;

- Type A first aid kit: 01 kit;

- Stretcher: 01 piece.

Moreover, depending on geographic features, business and living conditions and requirements for fire prevention and fighting and rescue operations of each commune-level unit, a neighborhood watch may be provided with other necessary fire prevention and fighting and rescue equipment mentioned in Appendix VI enclosed with the Decree No. 136/2020/NĐ-CP.
