Vietnam: Promulgating Quality Management Process in Mine Investigation and Clearance

Recently, the Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam has Circular 129/2021/TT-BQP promulgating regulations quality management process in investigation, survey and demining.

According to the Circular, the steps to implement quality management in the investigation, survey and demining include:

- Develop and approve the technical plan for construction of the survey, survey and demining estimates.

- Develop and approve the plan for investigation, survey and demining and the quality management plan of the project, items and tasks of investigation, survey and demining.

- Develop and implement additional training activities on investigation, survey and demining.

- Check construction conditions.

- Organize and manage works in the investigation, survey and demining activities.

- Prevention and correction of errors.

- Organize the collection and destruction of mines and explosives.

- Completing dossiers of completion of investigation, survey and demining.

- Records.
