The Government of Vietnam approved Resolution 30/NQ-CP dated March 4, 2023 on continuing to implement solutions to ensure medicines and medical devices.

According to Vietnam's Resolution 30/NQ-CP, to pilot the construction of medical bidding package prices, specifically as follows:

- When formulating the bid package price, consider the following in case the same type of medical devices has many different manufacturers:

The investor considers and decides to assign the unit's Scientific Council to carry out the construction of features and technical configuration according to the professional requirements of the unit.

On the basis of features and technical configurations built by the Scientific Council, the unit organizes a quotation according to the provisions of Point b, Clause 3 of Vietnam's Resolution 30/NQ-CP in 2023.

- In case the bid package consists of many separate parts, the price for each part in the bid package price shall be clearly stated.

- The investor determines the bid package price based on at least one of the documents, for example:

+ Results of the price appraisal of the competent state agency performing the price appraisal, the price appraisal enterprise according to the provisions of the Law on Prices;

+ The winning price of a similar medical device procurement package in the nearest previous period, up to 120 days.
