Vietnam: Only organize production and business when enterprises and employees are really safe

This is one of the principles mentioned in Official Dispatch No. 2242/LĐTBXH-TLĐ-PTM dated July 14 2021 ngày 14/7/2021 guiding the implementation of both isolation, production and business in enterprises and production and business establishments.

According to the Official Dispatch No. 2242/LĐTBXH-TLĐ-PTM, there are 05 general principles on organizing the implementation of both isolation, production and business in enterprises and production and business establishments as following:

- Only organize production and business when enterprises and employees are really safe.

- Do well the propaganda and advocacy work; promptly publicize information, strengthen recommendations and warnings; employers and employees (or labor unions) discuss and agree on a plan suitable to the business situation and the requirements of the local government, unless necessary.

- Enhance the self-discipline and sense of compliance of employers and employees; strictly handle violations.

- Fully comply with the directions of the Government of Vietnam, the Prime Minister, the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 prevention and control and the locality; fully implement the instructions of the Ministry of Health, relevant ministries, branches and local authorities.

- Based on the regulations of the competent authority and this Guidance, request the Chairman of the People's Committees of the provinces and cities to guide the implementation in accordance with the actual conditions for implementation in the locality.

The Official Dispatch No. 2242/LĐTBXH-TLĐ-PTM was issued on July 14 2021.
