Vietnam: Norms for the planning of infrastructure for storage and supply of petroleum and gas

The Ministry of Planning and Investment of Vietnam issued Circular No. 08/2019/TT-BKHĐT on guidelines for norms for planning activities.

Circular No. 08/2019/TT-BKHĐT of the Ministry of Planning and Investment of Vietnam stipulates direct norms for the planning of infrastructure for storage and supply of petroleum and gas with notable points as follows:

- Direct norms for the field investigation stage during the investigation and collection of internal data related to the national petroleum and gas reserve and supply infrastructure is the highest with 269 working days;

- Analysis and assessment of opportunities, challenges, limitations and problems in the development of reserve infrastructure and supply of petroleum and gas also has a high rate of 137 days, second only to the field survey;

- The construction of the planning task will have the lowest norm in the regulations on norms directly applied to the planning of national petroleum and gas reserve and supply infrastructure.
