On March 11, 2021, the Government Inspectorate of Vietnam issued Circular 01/2021/TT-TTCP on the code of conduct of cadres, civil servants and public employees in the Inspectorate and civil servants working in reception of citizens.
Promulgated together with Vietnam's Circular 01/2021/TT-TTCP is the Code of Conduct of cadres, civil servants and public employees in the inspection sector and officials and civil servants working in reception of citizens, including the following rules:
Uniformity and work style;
Communication through phone, email, and on social media;
Conduct of cadres, civil servants, and public employees in positions of leadership and management;
Conduct between civil servants and public employees with superiors and colleagues
Conduct with agencies, organizations, and individuals who work with information and press agencies;
Relationships with foreign organizations and individuals
Conduct when carrying out inspection tasks;
Conduct in performing the duties of receiving citizens
Conduct in the task of resolving complaints and denunciations;
Conduct in the performance of anti-corruption tasks
Currently, according to the provisions of VietnamDecision 1860/QD-TTCP, there are only 10 rules, but from May 1, 2021, the code of conduct for cadres, civil servants, public employees, in the Inspectorate, and cadres and civil servants doing citizen reception will have up to 13 rules.
