On July 21 2021, the Ministry of Health issued the urgent Official Dispatch 5858/BYT-MT on guiding epidemic prevention at wholesale markets and retail markets during the period of implementation Directive 16/CT-TTg.
According to the Official Dispatch, the Ministry of Health guilds epidemic prevention at markets for market management units as follows:
- Have a plan for COVID-19 prevention and control for the market, clearly specifying who is responsible for implementation, implementation time, and content to be implemented; the person in charge of inspection and supervision; guaranteed funding. Based on the results of inspection and evaluation to adjust the plan accordingly.
- Assign and publicize contact information (name, phone number) of the focal point in charge of COVID-19 prevention and control at the market.
- Sign commitments with local authorities on the implementation and compliance with regulations and recommendations on epidemic prevention.
- Organize purchases at the market according to one-way regulations (different ways in and out).
- Create a QR code of the quarantine point at the entrance to the market, provide a full mask and require employees/workers, sellers, and customers to make a medical declaration by scanning the QR code at the quarantine point or on the VHD app or declare on paper every day to enter the market, perform a special 5K, always wear a mask and keep a safe distance according to regulations…
