Vietnam: New regulations on organizational structure of Vietnam Television (VTV)

Below is the content specified in Vietnam's Decree 60/2022/ND-CP September 8, 2022 on functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of Vietnam Television Station.

According to Vietnam's Decree 60/2022/ND-CP, the organizational structure of Vietnam Television Station (VTV) consists of 28 units (down 3 units compared to the previous one) and is divided into the following groups:

- Organize to assist the General Director (5 units): Office; Organization and Personnel Committee; Planning - Finance Department; Inspection Committee, International Cooperation Department.

- Organize to assist the General Director and produce the program (1 unit): Editorial Secretariat.

- Program production organization (17 units): News Department; Science Department; Ethnic Language Television Department; External Television Department; Art Department; Entertainment Programs Production Department; Sports Department;...

- Organizing program production and providing multi-platform digital content (1 unit): Digital Content Development and Production Center.

- Program broadcast organization (1 unit): Technical Center for Broadcasting.

- Other non-business organizations (3 units): Television Professional Training Center; Center for Advertising and Television Services; Center for Informatics and Television Technology.

In addition, edit the names of some boards and centers as follows:

- "Center for Training and Retraining of Television Professionals" to "Center for Training of Television Professionals".

- "Sports Program Production Committee" to "Sports Board".

- "Center for Documentary and Reportage" to "Center for Documentary Film".

- "Center for Drama Production" to "Center for Drama"

- "Technical Center for Program Production" to "Television Technical Center"
