Vietnam: List of state secrets in information technology and communications

The Prime Minister of Vietnam has issued the Decision No. 2238/QĐ-TTg on promulgation of the list of state secrets in information technology and communications.

The List of 12 State secrets classified as “confidential” issued together with the Decision No. 2238/QĐ-TTg of the Prime Minister of Vietnam includes:

- Documents on radio frequency planning for national defense and security;

- Technical design, call signs, codes, and communication conventions of private information network system for agencies and organizations of the Party and State;

- Technical design of important telecommunications works related to national security;

- Conventions, passwords, encryption keys on ensuring security and safety of computer systems and ensuring safety of emergency response activities of computer systems in cyberspace of Party and State agencies;

- Coordinating documents, detailed plans and plans for handling cyber security incidents of level 3, level 4 with large influence or level 5;

- Proposals and plans for initiation of measures to safeguard information security for national, international, and regional events held in Vietnam with the participation of the heads of state;
