Vietnam: Improving the efficiency of state management in business activities under the multi-level marketing method in the 2021-2025 period

Recently, the Minister of Industry and Trade of Vietnam has issued the Decision No. 2837/QĐ-BCT in 2020 on the Project on improving the efficiency of state management in business activities under the multi-level marketing mode in the 2021-2025 period.

According to the Decision No. 2837/QĐ-BCT of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam, in order to improve the efficiency of state management in business activities by the multi-level marketing method, the 2021-2025 project should be continued with the following specific objectives:

- Firstly, perfecting the legal framework for managing business activities in a multi-level marketing manner in line with the actual requirements and development of the industry;

- Secondly, comprehensively raising the community's awareness of business law in a multi-level marketing manner;

- Thirdly, improving and applying information technology in managing business activities in a multi-level marketing manner;

- Fourthly, strengthening inspection, examination and handling of violations in business activities by the multi-level marketing method;

- Fifthly, improving the capacity of officials in charge of state management of business activities by the multi-level marketing method;

- Sixthly, improving the responsibility and role of the management agency in each locality, especially the Department of Industry and Trade in the management of business activities in a multi-level marketing manner in the locality.
