Vietnam: Guidelines for classification of investment projects for civil construction from March 3, 2021
Recently, the Government of Vietnam issued Decree 15/2021/ND-CP elaborating certain regulations on management of construction projects.

According to Vietnam's Decree 15/2021/ND-CP, construction project for civil works is a project that is invested and constructed to serve the activities, material and spiritual needs of people's life, including:
- Housing construction projects, including apartment buildings, tenement houses, detached houses (except for detached houses of households and individuals).
- Construction projects for public works:
- Construction projects for education, training, and research works;

Construction projects for health works;

Construction projects for sports works;

Construction projects for cultural works;

Construction projects for religious and belief works;

Construction projects for commercial and service works;

Construction projects for headquarters and offices;
- Construction projects for welfare of the people.
