Vietnam: Enrollment in bridge programs shall be conducted in company with university admissions

This is a notable content of Decision No. 18/2017/QĐ-TTg of the Prime Minister of Vietnam on bridge programs between post-secondary schools or junior colleges and universities.

According to Decision No. 18/2017/QĐ-TTg of the Prime Minister of Vietnam, the enrollment in bridge programs between post-secondary schools or junior colleges and universities is specified as follows:

- A holder of post-secondary diploma is entitled to apply for bridge program, take the enrollment examination in company with upper secondary graduates at annual admission to higher education of higher education institutions.

- A holder of junior college diploma is entitled to apply for bridge program, take the examination for enrollment in bridge program in the forms subject to decision of the head of higher education institution as follows:

+ Take the enrollment examination in company with upper secondary graduates at annual admission to higher education of the higher education institution.

+ Take the particular enrollment examination that the higher education institution prepares examination papers and administer the examination itself.

Decision No. 18/2017/QĐ-TTg of the Prime Minister of Vietnam takes effect from July 15, 2017, annulling Circular No. 55/2012/TT-BGDĐT and Circular No. 08/2015/TT-BGDĐT of the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam.
