Vietnam: Each inspection line of the vehicle inspection station must be taken charged by at least 03 inspectors

This is one of the notable contents specified in Circular No. 18/2019/TT-BGTVT of the Ministry of Transport of Vietnam providing guidance on implementation of Government’s Decree No.139/2018/ND-CP providing regulatory framework for provision of motor vehicle inspection services, issued on May 20, 2019.

According to Vietnam’s regulations, during operation, each inspection line of the vehicle inspection station must be taken charge by at least 03 inspectors who will directly perform motor vehicle inspection operations.

Moreover, the motor vehicle inspector who is allowed to perform all 05 inspection steps shall be evaluated for issuance of senior motor vehicle inspector’s certificate.

Competence evaluation of inspectors shall be performed by the inspectors who officially work at Vietnam Register and have at least 05 years’ experience in motor vehicle inspection.

View other provisions at Circular No. 18/2019/TT-BGTVT of the Ministry of Transport of Vietnam, effective from July 05, 2019 which replaces Circular No. 51/2016/TT-BGTVT.
