Vietnam: By 2030, at least 80% of the Youth Union's cadres will be fostered and promoted

According to Vietnam's Decision 1314/QĐ-TTg, at the specific goal of the project, by 2030, there will be at least 80% of Union officials at all levels, in which 100% of Youth Union officials in charge of young talents are trained and equipped with knowledge and professional skills to detect, foster, and promote young talents.

In addition, regulations on some other specific objectives of the project in Vietnam are as follows:

- Every year, at least 70% of young people are provided with information on guidelines, policies, and activities to discover, foster, and promote young talents in various fields.

- By 2030, after being discovered and honored, at least 60% of young talents are fostered, participate in knowledge sharing activities, support the community, and participate in socio-economic development organized by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, ministries, branches, and locally organized organizations.

- Every year, 100% of provinces and cities in the Youth Union monitor and update the local database of young talents and connect and effectively promote these young people.
 
- By 2025, effectively update and exploit the data of 10,000 young Vietnamese talents at home and abroad; by 2030, effectively update and exploit the data of 30,000 young talents on the National Young Talent Database System.
 
- By 2025, build and operate the Global Young Talent Network of Vietnam and the National Young Talent Digital Park.
 
Vietnam's Decision 1314/QĐ-TTg takes effect from the date of signing.
