This is a notable content of Decree 110/2020/ND-CP regulating the reward for students and learners in Vietnam who win prizes in national and international competitions.
According to Decree 110/2020/ND-CP, students who win prizes in International Olympiads by subjects, international scientific and technical research competitions, and world vocational skills competitions in Vietnam will be rewarded as follows:
- Gold medal or first prize: 55 million VND;
- Silver medal or second prize: 35 million VND;
- Bronze medal or third prize: 25 million VND;
- Encouragement prize: 10 million VND.
At the same time, students who win prizes in Asian Olympiads by subjects and Asian vocational skills competitions in Vietnam will be rewarded as follows:
- Gold medal: 35 million VND;
- Silver medal: 25 million VND;
- Bronze medal: 10 million VND;
- Encouragement prize: 8 million VND.
Students who are ethnic minorities or disabled and win prizes in competitions in Vietnam will receive bonuses equal to 1.5 times those stipulated above. If students are both ethnic minorities and disabled and win prizes in competitions, they will receive bonuses equal to 2 times those stipulated above.
