Vietnam: Application of information and technology in online management and training

This content is mentioned in Circular No. 12/2016/TT-BGDĐT on application of information and technology in online management and training, issued on April 22, 2016 by the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam.

According to Circular No. 12/2016/TT-BGDĐT of the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam, in order to organize online training, training facilities, including higher education institutions, academies and member universities affiliated to national universities and regional universities, must implement following categories:

- Online training portal.

- Server systems and infrastructures connecting to the Internet.

- Learning Management System.

- Learning Content Management System.

- Digital learning materials.

- Personnel ensuring implementation of online training including:

+ Technical staff for administering information technology;

+ Staff for designing studying materials;

+ Teachers that can develop e-Learning lectures;

+ Teaching assistants.

- Regulations on application of information and technology in online management and training.

Specific content for the implementation of the above requirements is specified in the Circular.

Circular No. 12/2016/TT-BGDĐT of the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam takes effect from June 09, 2016.
