Below is the noteworthy content from Official Dispatch 3194/BHXH-CSXH of Vietnam Social Security regarding guidance on some new contents in the procedures for enjoyment of occupational accident and disease benefits according to Decree 88/2020/ND-CP and decentralization according to Decision 166/QD-BHXH.

Official Dispatch 3194/BHXH-CSXH amends Article 6 of Decision 166/QD-BHXH. The application for the enjoyment of occupational disease benefits for employees who are diagnosed with occupational diseases after retirement or no longer working in occupations with occupational disease risks in Vietnam includes:

- Application for enjoyment of occupational disease benefits by the employee according to Form No. 01 issued with Decree 88/2020/ND-CP for employees who have retired or resigned, or a document from the employer where the applicant is currently working (Form No. 05A-HSB) for employees who have moved to work for another employer;

- The assessment record of reduced labor capacity from the medical assessment council ;

- In case of medical assessment fee reimbursement, an invoice, fee receipt for the assessment; and a list of the contents to be assessed from the medical facility are required;

- Prescription from the medical facility, the orthopedic and rehabilitation facility under the regulations on providing daily living aids, and orthopedic devices in Vietnam (if any).
