Vietnam: Announcement of the journalist card template term 2021-2025 with anti-counterfeiting electronic chip

Journalist card template term 2021-2025 valid until the end of December 31, 2025. The size, material and form of the journalist card template for the term 2021-2025 are specified in Article 1 of the Decision No. 2279/QĐ-BTTTT of the Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam as follows:

- Dimensions: Length 85.725mm, width 53.975mm, thickness 0.76mm, according to ISO CR80 standard;

- Material: PVC, double-sided matt lamination, anti-fading, anti-scratch layer printing;

- Appearance: Yellow front background, national emblem printed in the middle and surrounding bronze drum motifs, red background. The journalist card has 02 languages: Vietnamese and English.

In which, on the front of the journalist's card adjacent to the right margin: above is the position of QR code to identify the journalist's profile; the card has an electronic encryption chip to prevent counterfeiting.

Note: Journalist card number 2021 - 2025 in accordance with regulations of the Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam. The journalist's full name is written in capital letters, according to the registration dossier for granting and exchanging cards.

The Press Department, the Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information are responsible for granting and exchanging journalist's cards for the term 2021-2025 to ensure on time, progress and other provisions of law.
