Vietnam: Amount of rice in reserve to support students in the second semester of 2022-2023

Ministry of Finance of Vietnam issued Decision 241/QD-BTC dated 23/02/2023 on exporting rice to the national reserve to support students in the second semester of the school year 2022-2023.

Specifically, the export of national reserve rice to support students in the second semester of the school year 2022-2023 of some difficult provinces in Vietnam as follows:

The General Department of State Reserves issues (without collecting money) 33,508,995.7 kg of rice from the national reserve and assigns it to provinces to support students in the second semester of the school year 2022-2023 as prescribed in Vietnam's Decree 116/2016/ND-CP stipulating policies to support students and high schools in extremely disadvantageous communes and villages, for example:

- Hoa Binh: 865,680 (kg);

- Son La: 3,557,880 (kg);

- Dien Bien: 3,282,990 (kg);

- Lai Chau: 1,530,060 (kg);

- Ha Giang: 4,120,300.7 (kg);

- Lao Cai: 2,083,380 (kg);

- Yen Bai: 2,142,300 (kg);

- Tuyen Quang: 975,000 (kg);

- Phu Tho: 281,250 (kg);

- Bac Giang: 208,910 (kg);

- Lang Son: 1,892,340 (kg);

- Bac Kan: 781,200 (kg);

- Cao Bang: 2,070,000 (kg);

- Thai Nguyen: 270,000 (kg);

- Quang Ninh: 55,440 (kg);

- Thanh Hoa: 654,645 (kg);

- Nghe An: 1,830,000 (kg);

- Quang Tri: 531,750 (kg);

- Quang Binh: 216,750 (kg);

- Thua Thien Hue: 14,940 (kg);..
