Vietnam: Amending HS codes for export and import of several civil cryptography products

This is a notable content mentioned in Decree No. 53/2018/ND-CP of Vietnam’s Government on amendments to Decree No. 58/2016/ND-CP elaborating on trading in civil cryptography products and services, and export and import of civil cryptography products.

Decree No. 53/2018/ND-CP of Vietnam’s Government replaces the List of civil cryptography products exported and imported under license enclosed with Decree No. 58/2016/ND-CP with the List of civil cryptography products exported and imported under license - Appendix II herewith and amends HS codes of certain goods, in particular:

- Combined printing-copying-facsimile machines:

+ Color: 8443.31.31;

+ Other: 8443.31.39;

- Line telephone sets with cordless handsets: 8517.11.00; Telephones for cellular networks or for other wireless networks: 8517.12.00; Other: 8517.18.00.

- Television cameras, digital cameras and video camera recorders:

+ Transmission apparatus: 8525.50.00;

+ Transceivers: 8525.60.00;

- Electronic integrated circuits:

+ Processors and controllers: 8542.31.00;

+ Memory cards: 8542.32.00.
