Vietnam: Allocation of subsidies for under-03-month training courses for employees from the State budget

According to Circular No. 152/2016/TT-BTC of the Ministry of Finance of Vietnam, the allocation of subsidies for basic and under-03-month training courses from public sector capital budget which is a part of the State budget is as follows:

- Disabled persons: maximum 06 million dong/person/course;

- Poor ethnics, poor households of severely-disadvantaged communes: maximum 04 million dong/person/course;

- Ethnics, beneficiaries of preferential policies for persons who contributed to the national revolution under the Ordinance on preferential policies for persons who contributed to the national revolution, those whose agricultural or commercial land is withdrawn and poor households, fishermen and unemployed women: maximum 03 million dong/person/course;

- For women and rural workers other than those specified above: maximum 02 million dong/person/course;

- For those who concurrently fall into more than one category specified above, the highest subsidy shall apply.

Moreover, these entities are also entitled to meal and travel subsidies.
